David Rosenbloom Named to The Legal 500's Hall of Fame

July 10, 2018, The Legal 500

David Rosenbloom has been named to The Legal 500’s "Hall of Fame" after being listed as a “Leading Lawyer” for over six years for his work with clients on international tax matters.  Mr. Rosenbloom is among a handful of U.S. lawyers named to the "Hall of Fame" in 2018, with only two practicing in the international tax arena.  Practitioners listed in the "Hall of Fame" were selected as a result of their consistent excellence and continuous praise from clients and peers.

David Rosenbloom has substantial experience working with multinational companies in the areas of international tax planning and cross-border tax controversies, including transfer pricing and advance pricing agreements, the foreign tax credit and subpart F, tax treaty issues and competent authority proceedings.  He also has extensive knowledge of financial products and financial institutions, taxation of all forms of inbound investment, and individual tax compliance in a cross-border context. Mr. Rosenbloom served as Tax Policy Advisor for the U.S. Treasury, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), U.S. AID, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank in Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries, the former Soviet Union, Senegal, Malawi, and South Africa.  Additionally, he has consulted with and advised foreign governments and international organizations on international tax matters, and served as an expert witness in international tax disputes in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Norway, and Australia.  Furthermore, Mr. Rosenbloom is the James S. Eustice Visiting Professor of Taxation and the Director of the International Tax Program at New York University School of Law.
