Lynchburg College Names New Building After Douglas Drysdale

October 28, 2014, WDBJ7
Lynchburg College recently opened the new "Drysdale Student Center" at its campus in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Center, named for Caplin & Drysdale's co-founder Douglas D. Drysdale, is dedicated to the school's core values of leadership, service, diversity and wellness. The facility has 72,000 square-feet of space and boasts a large exercise room overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and several venues to purchase food. Additionally, new offices, conference rooms, and lounge areas give students a place to meet and work together on school projects. Mr. Drysdale, a member of the Lynchburg College Board of Trustees, and his wife Elaine Hadden Drysdale, pledged $3 million toward the building's construction. For more on this story, please visit WDBJ7's website.
