Charles Ruchelman Comments on IRS Chief Counsel Nomination

Michael J. Desmond, a former Bingham McCutchen LLP partner turned independent tax practitioner, has been nominated to be the chief counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, according to a Friday announcement from the White House.
