Caplin & Drysdale Gives Back to the DC Community

06.19.2013

A brave crew of Caplin & Drysdale attorneys and support staff were on hand on Thursday, June 13, 2013, to help Buildable Hours, Inc.—a Washington, D.C. nonprofit organization—build a new home for a deserving family accepted into the Habitat for Humanity program.  Buildable Hours, a 501(c)(3) organization co-founded in 2001 by Caplin & Drysdale President Scott D. Michel, "was created to direct law firm summer associate programs toward an activity that would make a lasting difference in our communities," said Mr. Michel.  Summer Associate Benjamin Eisenstat commented "It was very fulfilling to work as a team to help give back.  Every two by four that we helped move brought a family in need one step closer to a new home and that is an incredible feeling."
